Sharon joined CU Strategic Planning in 2016 and has led us as CFO, co-owner and founder and Chair of the National Council for Financial Opportunities. She's retiring this week, and we wanted to share her message to you all.
For the past three years I’ve been planning my retirement from CU Strategic Planning. I’m excited to say that day is here and I’m ready to go fishing and hiking! Before I do, I want you to know that working with you to grow your credit union’s impacts and health as a CDFI has been a complete joy. I see what we’ve done together, and my life’s work has greater meaning.
That’s why I worked hard on my transition and training plan these past years. It’s important to me that you know you are in exceptional hands. This team is the best in the business – they’re ready and excited.
What’s next for me? Beyond hiking and fishing, I will also consult behind the scenes with Callahan & Associates to build an incredible CDFI data platform that many of you have asked for over the past years. CU Strategic Planning and Callahan are going to blow your socks off!
I truly believe as a CDFI Credit Union you are positively impacting your communities and serving those financially underserved. Thank you for letting me be part of that impact.
Best,
Sharon Hall
